Mama Lan supporting Kaiwecare
Mama Lan is now part of a movement to support Kiwi chef and Masterchef winner Mat Follas, to try and help raise money for the victims of the Christchurch earthquake. The name of the charity Kai We Care is a pun on Kiwi Care with Kai coming from the Māori for food.
What’s happening?
A lavish SEVEN course meal cooked by multitude of well known celebrity and Michelin star chefs is currently being organised, with an auction at the end of the dinner. There are too many chefs to name on this email but full details can be found on the website below.

How do I buy a ticket and how much will it cost?
There will be c.200 tickets available. The tickets will cost £150 per person, to book email kaiwecare@gmail.com.
Mama Lan’s contribution
We’ve donated two auction prizes for the charity event:
1. A private dumplings making lesson for 4 people at the comfort of your own home. You and your friends will learn how to make the best dumplings in town from Mama Lan herself!
2. Four tickets to a Mama Lan’s supper club dinner. The dinner consists of a 3 course meal, a welcome mocktail, and a live cooking demonstration. See www.mamalan.co.uk for more details.
Can I bid for auction prizes even I can’t attend the dinner?
Yes you can! There’s nothing to stop you bidding for the Mama Lan prizes above now! A live auction via Twitter will take place on the night of the event for all prizes
