Disaster strikes

The Boyfriend was trying out some egg tarts ahead of Saturday’s dinner… guess what happened?

Disaster strikes!

First – The Boyfriend didn’t have the small ramekins so he decided to make a big one

Second – the pastry was baked for 20 minutes but it appeared to be uncooked when the tart finished cooking

Third – The tart sank in the middle and it looked like a giant omelette

Fourth – The texture was almost jelly like, a bit plasticy actually

This was basically his worst creation EVER… I just hoped he’d make some eatable egg tarts on Saturday otherwise our dinners might not be happy
