The Boyfriend’s just made his 7th attempt at the macaroons – and FAILED!

Anyone out there can share their secrets on making the perfect macaroons?

Macaroons or rather The Boyfriend is driving me crazy!

Ever since the start of the Mama Lan adventure, The Boyfriend has became a little obsessed with pastry.  Now I give him credit for designing and baking some delicious desserts at the Mama Lan sittings but he’s gone absolutely bonkers lately!  He’s read somewhere that ‘you can only call yourself a pastry chef if you can make perfect macaroons’.  So that’s exactly what he’s been doing! Six attempts and I think he’s almost there, check out the one perfect macaroon that he’s made (out of 60).  Can we call him a pastry chef now?
